Adult Ministries

We have 5 different adult Bible classes all taught by very capable, mature Christians who love to study and teach.  Most of our teaching is verse by verse through different Books of the Bible.  We have a dynamic young married class that deals with many personal studies relating to the problems faced by young families.  Teaching, Mentoring and Encouraging are three words that best describe our Sunday Morning Bible Classes.

Barnabas Ministry:  This group writes notes of encouragement to our homebound members, visitors and absentees.  They also make personal visits to homebound members and hospital patients, and write letters of support to our military stationed overseas.

Patrick Henry Ministry:  This group of members keeps current on political issues that affect our church family.  For instance, if a pro-family bill is introduced in the local or national legislatures, they notify the church body.  Likewise, if a anti-family bill is being circulated through the political process, then the alarm is sounded.  Also, the Patrick Henry Ministry sends care packages to our service men and women overseas, with handwritten notes of thanks and appreciation.  When one of these heroes is killed, our Patrick Henry Ministry sends a letter of condolence from the church family, signed by the Pastor, with personal prayers and thoughts to the hero’s family.
